Christian Reenstierna 

Managing Partner

Mr. Reenstierna is the managing partner of CRE Asset Advisors, LLC, bringing over 35 years of commercial real estate experience to the leadership position.  Prior to founding CRE Asset Advisors, Mr. Reenstierna served as Chief Real Estate Officer and Executive Vice President of Admirals Bank, a position responsible for overseeing all real estate activities and functions for loan origination and acquisition, Valuation, REO properties, environmental due diligence, and management of bank-owned and leased facilities.  Before his tenure at the bank, Mr. Reenstierna served as Senior Vice President and Director of Real Estate at Capital Crossing Servicing Company.  

Mr. Reenstierna also served as President and Principal of TH Reenstierna for 11 years, a real estate consulting firm with roots in the Boston area.  During his time at TH Reenstierna, the firm broadened its reach from the New England area to a national presence and developed a reputation as an appraisal industry leader. He is an esteemed member of the Counselors of Real Estate, a Fellow of the Royal Institute of Chartered Surveyors and holds the CCIM designation.  Mr. Reenstierna is a Certified General Appraiser License in the State of Massachusetts and is a Tufts University graduate.

Bill Baker

Partner

Mr. Baker is a founding partner and principal in the company and brings more than 30 years of commercial real estate experience to the team. He is experienced in commercial real estate brokerage, development, sourcing debt and equity deals and valuation. Mr. Baker currently holds an active broker's license.  Prior to the founding of CRE Asset Advisors, LLC, Mr. Baker developed and presided over Composite Real Estate Services, a real estate consulting company focused on the sale and acquisition of debt. He was a commercial broker with Cushman & Wakefield and Grubb & Ellis through the 1990’s into 2000. Mr. Baker began his commercial real estate career in 1988 as an appraiser for Joseph Blake & Company and then RM Bradley.  He is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire.   

Jennifer Bard

Partner

Ms. Bard is a founding partner who began her real estate career over 15 years ago in a commercial appraisal capacity.  Prior to the formation of CRE Asset Advisors, LLC, Ms. Bard served as Vice President and Senior Real Estate Analyst at Admirals Bank, where she played an integral part in implementing and managing the real estate department's valuation function. During her time at Admirals, Ms. Bard guided a team of analysts and designed and managed the Bank's third-party commercial appraisal platform. She was also responsible for site selection analysis and lease negotiation for bank owned properties and retail branches. Ms. Bard holds a BA in Economics from ECSU and is a Massachusetts licensed Certified General Appraiser.

Mary Houten-Kemp

Partner

Ms. Houten-Kemp is a partner in CRE Asset Advisors, LLC who has been a licensed commercial appraiser since 2003. Ms. Houten-Kemp has extensive experience valuing a myriad of property types, including many complex and/or special use properties. Prior to joining CRE Asset Advisors, Ms. Houten-Kemp was a senior appraiser at Curtis-Rosenthal, Inc. and Continental Realty Advisors. Earlier in her career, she managed residential mortgage lending for both a bank and a mortgage company. Ms. Houten-Kemp has an MBA with a concentration in finance from Babson College. 

Sacharie Rystrom

Residential Appraiser

Ms. Rystrom is CREAA’s residential real estate appraiser. She started her real estate career in 2001 working for a small residential appraisal company while studying at the University of Massachusetts in Lowell. Upon graduating she remained in real estate and continued to work for the same real estate appraisal company while working to achieve her full residential appraisal license in 2007.  Since this time, she has completed a variety of single family and one to four multi-family residential appraisals which span the entire state of Massachusetts and the Cape Cod Islands. Sacharie joined CRE-Asset Advisors as a residential appraiser in spring of 2017, and has recently began assisting and training in commercial appraisals. Using her knowledge and experience of the residential aspect, she brings a unique perspective to the commercial field of real estate appraising.   

Aleksandr Boyarin  

Certified General Appraiser

Aleksandr "Sasha" Boyarin began working in the appraisal industry as an analyst at CRE Asset Advisors in 2020. His experience includes research and analysis of subject, area, and market information as well as sales comparison and income data. He has worked extensively on both appraisals and evaluation for multiple property types, such as multifamily, general commercial, industrial, and mixed use. He has conducted numerous property inspections and continues to advance his knowledge of the commercial real estate appraisal industry through work experience and course work. Aleksandr graduated Brandeis University with a double major in Business and Economics. He has been an active real estate investor for close to ten years.

 

Judy Ravech Pelletier

Consultant

Ms. Pelletier has recently joined the team at CRE Asset Advisors and brings over 30 years of commercial real estate experience to the firm.  Most recently, Ms. Pelletier worked in asset management at The RMR Group, where she was responsible for the oversight of up to 12 million square feet of office, medical office, life science, and industrial properties located around the nation. Prior to her tenure at RMR, she was an integral part of the top-ranking “Griffin Team” handling investment sales at Cushman & Wakefield and Newmark for almost 20 years.  She was directly involved in all parts of the marketing process for over $16B in commercial real estate transactions, working with all property types including large multiple asset portfolios, trophy office towers, mixed-use properties, retail shopping centers and malls,  ground leases, and condominium structures. Ms. Pelletier began her career as an appraiser, consultant, and real estate software trainer at The Beal Companies and then Real Estate Solutions.  She graduated as valedictorian from Babson College with a BS in Business Administration.

 

Amber Brode

Certified General Appraiser

Ms. Brode has been a licensed commercial appraiser since 2008. She began her appraisal career at a Southern California firm in 2000, where she remained until joining CRE Asset Advisors in 2021. Ms. Brode has extensive experience valuing various property types, and at her prior firm specialized in apartment repositions and proposed, high-value residences. Ms. Brode is a graduate of the University of California, Irvine, and is a licensed Certified General Appraiser in the State of Colorado.
